HOW TO FIND AN EXCEPTIONAL CLEANING SERVICE FOR YOUR BUSINESS

Whilst there are plenty of cleaning services available, finding an exceptional one for your business can be challenging. The service that is the least expensive is rarely the best candidate – their work could be sloppy or unorganized. Likewise, the one that is the most expensive is not likely to be the best candidate either – they may be careless with your belongings. So, how do you choose?

Step 1: Determine exactly what it is you’re looking for – do you want someone to clean your business on a regular basis or is this a once off project; do you want someone you can get to know better or a team of professionals?

Step 2: Determine your budget. The first visit will generally be expensive, as the cleaners will have to be quite thorough. Any following visits will likely be a little cheaper, as they will only be cleaning whatever new mess has been made.

Step 3: Look into some cleaning services that you wouldn’t mind using. Ask friends or acquaintances for references, flip through the Yellow Pages and do some research online into companies in your local area.

Step 4: Call the service to arrange an appointment so that they can see your business and provide you with a quote. Make sure you mention your budget to ensure that you aren’t both wasting your time.

Step 5: Determine whether the service is insured or not. Whilst this may not seem important, it will at least give you the guarantee that if something happens you won’t be held accountable, such as damage or injury.

Step 6: Interview your cleaners when they arrive and have them evaluate your business (make sure they do a walk-through). Take the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have regarding their service.

Once you have completed each of the above steps, you should be armed with all of the information that you need to make a decision. Make sure that you don’t base your decision entirely on the price, as this doesn’t necessarily correlate to the exceptionality of the cleaning service. If you can, try to sign up to a trial clean or period to ensure that you are happy
